2017 MVP Awards: Emory University

Emory continues to raise the bar for sustainability within Atlanta. Since Emory has joined the program, the university has saved 78.9 million gallons of water and close to 3 billion kbtu’s cumulatively. As a portfolio, they are seeing a water reduction of 37% and an energy reduction of 30%.

Through projects like the Emory water hub, student involvement and engagement, and the university’s sustainability vision and strategic plan, these efforts are all raising the bar not only for the ABBC, but the market as a whole.

With Emory’s added commitment of their healthcare facilities, they now have more than 10 million square feet of university and healthcare properties participating in the ABBC.
